I was born in Santander . Santander is the capital of Cantabria and Cantabria is a province in the North of Spain . Cantabria is a beautiful province because it has beaches and mountains ; it´s a very good place .

When you stay in Cantabria you can go to a lot of places , for example you can visit the Magdalena Palace , Cabarceno natural park or prehistoric caves as Altamira , El Castillo or Las Monedas. You can also visit Gaudi´s caprice in Comillas or go to some beaches, because Cantabria has a lot of beautiful beaches: one of them is Covachos ; this beach is my favourite; other famous beaches are : El Sardinero , Mataleñas , Liencres and one long etc . Another important famous places is El Casino , it´s near the Sardinero beach . In my city there is a football stadium , a golf , a festival´s Palace and a Cathedral , but all these things are only in the capital (Santander) , in the other towns and villages there are more nice places to see ; for example : San Vicente de la Barquera , Laredo , Potes or Reinosa . The two first places are sea villages and the two seco nd are villages in the mountains . Another good thing about Cantabria is its food . The typical food is the cocido montañés. If you have the opportunity to come here , you will have to make use of it.
