| You may have heard of the Arbutus Unedo, the Strawberry Tree from the mediterranean region. Here we have an endemic relative here, called Madroño locally. This name is internationally reserved for another fruit, Rheedia Madrunno from Columbia. Let´s better call our plant Canarian Strawberry Tree. |
