They are composition figures and fantastic qualities, devised by the man's imagination. They should not lack in any mythology encyclopedia neither in bestiarios, due to the frequent and important use that one makes of them in all the heraldic armories. Here we pick up a part, of those which some you surely already had it indexes of their existence. Know now that attributes possessed and for that were granted.

PHOENIX. It is a mythological animal that puts on makeup reborning of their own ashes consumed in the fire. The form of painting it in heraldry is similar to the extended eagle, with the particularity that the feathers of the head are of purple, those of the neck of gold and those of the line mix of azure and gules. The constant tradition of this animal is that heady to the fire, not alone it doesn't die, but rather it charges life and strength; of here that it symbolizes a spirit that, heady to the dangers of fires, it is conserved unhurt, and also the one that purified their honor between contradictions and risks.

MINOTAURO. He has man's superior part and the inferior of bull. It is armed with one it nails. He puts on makeup of the color of the animal of which proceeds. It symbolizes as the sagitario, wise and skillful politician in the military art.

 

SAGITTARIUS. He has their superior part of man and the inferior of horse. It is armed with an arch and arrow. He puts on makeup of the color of the horse, of which proceeds. It symbolizes the same as the Minotauro, wise and skillful politician in the military art.

 

CHIMERA. She has the head and woman's chest, their arms finish in lion claws, the feet of faucet, the inferior part of goat, and the line of volute snake in their end. It symbolizes pride, she suspects and conquered envy.

 

JANO. It is man's head with two faces, the one opposed to the other one. The mythology affirms that these two faces were good to look at that happened and the coming thing. It is emblem of the care that a prince must have in to see and to hear the necessities of his town so that, in view of that happened, provide the present and to the future contingencies.

ARGUS. It is on woman's of front face, full all their surface of eyes. It denotes the surveillance with which the gentleman keeps his honor.
