They are the figures that some commentators in heraldry have denominated as of second order, seantes or seances. They have enough likeness with the linings, since they occupy the whole shield. Its use in the Spanish heraldry is scarcer than in other Europeans; as it wants that some appear more often, and other very occasionally, we limit ourselves alone to show their presence.
