This is a very short history how I come up with this little editor: I'm a 8051 developer, and I always use that DOS-box to compile my programs, however I couldn't find a very good windows editor (and compiler), so I decided to start a new one (maybe this is just another one... but I like it!).
I started trying to make just an editor, but later I thought that I could integrate also many tools... and of course I was tired of all of those shareware editors which really don't do much at all. I'm planning to integrate this editor with my 8051 simulator which is also available just for free!. Features
WIDE-51 is a multilingual Assembly editor for the intel microcontrollers family MCS51 and starts with a multilanguage installation, initially it comes with 6 flavours: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese, but of course, they're not perfect ... because I've just use a simple translator to do that, so, I apologize if you find a mistake or mispelling in any of them... But you can easily correct. All of the items are in a specific file in the main directory: English has its definitions in the file "english.lan", Spanish language in the file "spanish.lan" and so on.... so you may also either correct or create a new language file: just copy one of them to a new name (please do not change the extension ".lan"), just one thing: you may modify the content of the line, but you CANNOT delete or insert new lines, or your definition file won't work. Win8051 automatically detects which languages are present and shows you as a cascade items under the "language" menu ("tools" menu)
Unfortunatelly I cannot deliver the help file for now, I expext to do that as soon as possible.
