Welcome everybody to my first Spectrum page (well, to my first page, in fact).

The main purpose of this page is to give thanks to all the people who contribute to the emulation scene (creating emulators, utilities or translating programs).

In this page, you will find games for ZX Spectrum Emulators in TZX and TAP formats. I have tried to put games that are interesting because they are new in the scene or they are in a better format (TAP format instead of Z80 format). All the games are taking from the originals.

I hope you enjoy these games.

If you are a new user of Spectrum emulators, you will be probably wondering what are this files and which use could have. Well, the TZX and TAP formats stores a mirror of an Spectrum game, just like they were in a cassette. The main difference between those formats is that TAP format is used to load games which uses standard loading routines. However, TZX can handle every kind of loaders (like turbo, multi load...). Moreover, the TZX format has been developed in such a way, that can include messages, instructions,... If you are interested in learning more about this new amazing format, you will find some places to go in LINKS page.

Now, i would like to give thanks to all the people that has contributed to the Spectrum emulation (in no particular order):

, for been the father of the great format TZX

for the best utility for maintenance of Spectrum software: Taper, as well as for SGD (Spectrum Games Database).

, author of the first emulator that supported TZX files: x128. He is also the author of a Sega Master System and Game Gear emulator: Massage.

, author of Z80, one the best Spectrum emulators for DOS. Now he is devolopment a new version of Z80 for Windows 95 and DOS.

Raul Gomez Sanchez, author of R80, the first spanish emulator that supports TZX files (it supports pokes, Archive Info,... in fact all the blocks except Screen and Snapshot).

and , authors of Warajevo, the first emulator to load Spectrum games with no standard loading routine.

, author of ZX32, an Spectrum emulator for Windows 95.

, author of ZX Edit (a program to do Spectrum instructions, maps,...) and for ZX Rainbow (a Database for Spectrum games).

Everybody at the Taper mailing-list.

Everybody who share their software and give it free.

Everybody that makes emulators and translate games to be used with them, specially to the authors of Callus, MAME, Rage, System16, UAE, NeoRage, Shark, and a lot of more...

Finally, a big thanks to Enrique Rios (for helping me to development this page) and Sergio Llata (for helping me translating Spectrum games to TZX), because they are great friends.
