Who we are?
The Grup de Figures Històriques is formed by members of the Club Arioch specially interested in
Wargaming with historical miniatures. We are a group of 10 regular players, plus some more irregulars.
When and where do we meet?
We meet every saturday from 5 pm to 9 pm in the Club Arioch, at the following address:

What do we play?
We play many periods, always with 15 mm figures.

Playing style
Although we are not competitive players we usually play "competition games" in the sense
that we prefer battles with equal point budgets and with terrain according to the rules. The reason is that it is the best way to finish a game in an evening, knowing who has won. We play only occasionally historical battles (mainly for Shows, as you can see in the photographs). Only very seldom we organize a competition.
We accept that probably this is not the best way to reproduce the challenges found by real
generals. Of course, the best way are campaign or well designed scenario battles, but what we play offers a reasonable degree of compromise between realism and amusement.
And amusement is the Reason we play for!
